Ultimately it would be good to adjust priorities from the base station, such as sending all spare power to the car, or even choosing to charge the car on maximum. The Adaptive EV Charger currently has three modes of operation and it would be good to be able to adjust these remotely, though the built in intelligence should eventually be able to do this itself by not pulling surplus power from the grid if there is going to be a surplus for the day and not a lot of driving being done.

Initial thoughts are a Raspberry Pi solution linked directly to a touch sensitive screen in its own case with built in rechargable batteries so it can be moved around without the need to power it down.
